Flowering Time

Flowering time references the period in which a plant produces flowers (bud), flower buds will set after the vegetative stage when it’s been actively growing. A Marijuana plant will enter the flowering time when its exposure to light is 12 or fewer hours a day. This is typically around the fall outdoors. Hydroponic growers have the ability to manipulate an artificial growing cycles to ensure that their plants flower at a specific time. Having separate crops on different timers allow hydroponic growers to continually have flowering plants year round.
