Purging

Purging is the process of removing residual solvent from a concentrate such as Butane or Propane. In most cases this will be done in a purging oven, where the mixture of solvent and desired extract product are heated. The exact temperature will be at a level where the solvent will evaporate but the extract will remove. Thus purging out the undesired product from the mix
