Most of you may be familiar with our Green Congolese, and of those, some have commented on the lack of girth that our landrace sativa brings, so for those we have successfully crossed our Congo with a very special indica called Sour Bubble.

This mix of all-star genetics, that is the Congo Sour strain, has created a much bulkier version of the beloved original. We chose this phenotype above the rest, as it leans closer to the Congo’s particular effects and flavours, while effectively addressing the density issue. Most nugs on the market these days are a heavily cross-bread mix of already blended hybrids, gone are the days where breeders have easy access to pure landrace sativas and indicas, and with it, some of those unique characteristics.

Die hard fans will likely agree, there’s nothing better than that special buzz you get from the Green Congo, so we decided to try and duplicate that, while helping Congo get a wider audience between the sativa skeptics out there.

The energetic and cerebral high you expect from a Congo is still the foundation of this new cross, bringing those unique earthy and citrus terpenes and a rare cannabinoid complex that express the light euphoric high that is so functional.
