The Runtz LSO is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% Indica/50% Sativa) created through a delicious cross of the infamous Zkittlez X Gelato strains.
Named for the iconic candy, the Runtz strain brings on a super delicious fruity flavor with tropical citrus and sour berries galore – thanks to the three dominant terpenes – Beta-Caryophyllene, Linalool, and Limonene. Even more defined and optimized in an LSO environment. The evenly balanced Hybrid is one of cannabis’ most famous kings.
The aroma is very similar – sour berries – although, with a sharp spicy pineapple effect that turns slightly pungent as the sticky little nugs are broken apart and burned.
The Runtz high comes roaring in a few minutes after your final toke, first hitting your head with a calming lift before spreading its tingly tendrils throughout the rest of your body. As the Runtz high expands, you’ll begin to feel a deeply calming effect spread through your limbs. The Koots Boutique Process
The organic living soil we use has been perfected over 5 years of trial and error. We use a combination of compost organic matter, teas, and herbs together to create a natural environment for the cannabis plant during its seedling, vegetative and flowering cycles. These plants are healthy and use natural techniques to deter pests and mould. The way it should be.
Dry pull does taste like banana Runts. Taste translates when smoking. Smells slightly sweet. Makes me calm. Post smoke, I feel like my throat’s agitated a tiny bit. The taste of Runts lingers after smoking, as well.
It’s a strong one. The first hit rocked me. Pretty much gave me a headache. I was way too high to notice/remember what it tasted like or any specific effects. I was just really fkn stoned.
Came back the next day and was beyond satisfied. It’s incredible bud.
The cure is flawless in my opinion. Worthy of a Boveda pack. The particular snap of the bud and overall taste + smell have a candy-like essence to them. Both parent strains show off their best qualities. A home run for these growers.

Don’t get me wrong. These lso strains are great, but I found the runts lacking in the nose department. Was hyped have it smell like candy but it’s reminds me more of the Thai landrace. Still a great hybrid with moderate effects.
Bud tastes kill and looks kill. Very frosty, would have liked it to be stickier but it wasn’t dry either. Good smoke. Medium sized buds, firm and squishy.
Maybe the stars were aligned strangely, but this one did not hit like a typical hybrid–more like an indica-powered locomotive slamming at high speed. Ten minutes after a big vape in the Mighty, I had to turn off the TV. Ten minutes later, I could not even listen to music, as I was glued to the couch. I am hugely experienced with a big tolerance, but this one knocked me flat. I was passed out within a half an hour. Wow. Admittedly, I had a busy day and was tired when I started, but I didn’t expect such a flattening. Wow. Bring it on. Good strong weed, but way more on the deep indica-couch-lock end of the spectrum.
